Life of Nelson
Robert Southey, named Poet Laureate in 1813, crafted an influential biography, The Life of Nelson, honoring Britains greatest Naval hero, Horatio, Lord Viscount Nelson. Nelson, who fell in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, remains in memory for his legendary call to duty, England expects that every man will do his duty.
